Apart from today being cloudy, windy and freezing, I also had to perform as part of Arts Sunday. Every year, the Guernsey Arts Commission hold this event to showcase the islands best creative talent. There's live music, craft for sale and dance performances. My ballet group performed a dance as well as other groups and soloists from my dance school. Performing's great and I had fun but the event was outside and we had to dance around in this strappy number. We were freezing. (The weather forecast said it was about 11 degrees but the wind made it feel a lot worse)
I wasn't as nervous as I usually am, the cold was probably taking up most of my thoughts. The chilly sea breeze (the stage was set up right on the sea front) made smiling difficult but that didn't stop a rather large crowd from watching. Especially shocking as ballet is fairly slow and many get bored after 2 minuets. Overall, it was a success.
